With the release of Optics Pro v8.1.6, DxO Labs has surpasses the 12,000 milestone for its Optics modules of camera/lens combinations. The new release also adds support for six new cameras: the Canon EOS 700D/REBEL T5i, Leica M, Nikon Coolpix A/P330, Pentax MX-1 and Sony NEX-3N.

The upgrade is free for all owners of DxO Optics Pro 8, as well as for photographers who purchased a DxO Optics Pro 7 license on or after Sept. 1, 2012.

PARIS, France -- DxO Labs announces the immediate availability of DxO Optics Pro v8.1.6 for Mac and Windows, the new version of its image processing software of reference for all demanding photographers. With this update, DxO Optics Pro 8 now supports the Leica M (Elite edition only) and the Canon EOS 700D/REBEL T5i. Four other cameras complete the list of cameras supported by this updated version: the Nikon Coolpix A, the Nikon Coolpix P330, the Pentax MX-1 and the Sony NEX-3N.
