Iridient Digital has updated Iridient Developer [M] to version 2.2 with support for lens vignetting corrections including automatic correction from LCP lens profile files, DNG format images with embedded lens metadata and some camera manufacturer's Raw metadata.

Manual lens vignetting adjustments are now available and the Auto Levels noise reduction option introduced in version 2.1 has been improved.

Iridient Digital releases Iridient Developer 2.2 for Mac OS X

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. -- Iridient Digital, Inc. has released Iridient Developer 2.2, an update to its photo processing software for Mac OS X.

The Iridient Developer 2.2 update can be downloadeded directly from Iridient Digital.

This release includes support for lens vignetting corrections including automatic correction from LCP lens profile files, DNG format images with embedded lens metadata and some camera manufacturer's Raw metadata. Manual lens vignetting adjustments are now available as well. This release improves the "Auto Levels" noise reduction option introduced in version 2.1.

Many new resampling methods have been added for image resizing on export including various new sharper, smoother and auto options. Greatly improved handling of Job Queue window updates now allows for quick queueing of huge batch jobs with many thousands of images. Various other bug fixes and performance improvements are included as well.

Numerous improvements specific to the Fujifilm X-Trans models include an all new "Soft Look" smoother demosaic option, automatic lens corrections, improved camera tone curve and base exposure levels to better match camera JPEG output, more white balance presets, detailed lens model name display and fixes for ISO gain at 3200/6400.

Support has been added for eight new cameras: Canon 70D, Sony RX100M2/RX1R, Fujifilm X-M1, Panasonic GX7/FZ72/FZ70 and Pentax Q7.

This release is a paid upgrade for users who originally purchased a license prior to Feb. 1, 2012. You get at least 18 months of FREE upgrades, regardless of version designation, when purchasing Iridient Developer. When unregistered Iridient Developer is fully functional, however all exported images will be watermarked.

Upgrades are available to previously licensed users for the discounted price of $45 by requesting a 40 percent discount code from sales@iridientdigital.com. New licenses can be purchased for $75 securely through Iridient Developer by selecting "Purchase..." from the File menu or securely online through the Iridient Digital Web store.

Iridient Developer 2.2 is a 64-bit Intel application and requires a 64-bit capable Intel processor (Core 2 Duo or later) and Mac OS X version 10.6 or later.
