DxO Labs has released new versions of its imaging utilities ViewPoint and FilmPack. Details of the minor updates include:
- ViewPoint v2.1.2 adds new DxO Optics Modules for automatically correcting distortion in JPEG and TIFF images.
- FilmPack v4.5.1 improves stability.
Panorama photographer Harold Zeh, whose images regularly exceed 600-MB, reports that large images are resized to no more than 300-MB in ViewPoint. DxO notes support for images as large as 200-MB.
When we asked if the update addresses that issue, DxO confirmed it does not.
