In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention (with more than 140 characters). This time we look at photo projects, Raw files, Behance portfolio reviews and Eyefi Cloud.

  • Alain Briot suggests Why Photography Projects are Important. "Projects cause you to stop being excited by a single image," he notes, "and start being excited by a collection of images."
  • In Inside Raw Files, George Jardine discusses what makes up a Raw file and how you can use it to your advantage.
  • Behance, part of the Adobe Photoshop Photography Program subscription, has announced a series of Portfolio Reviews at 1,570 locations across the globe from May 12-18.
  • Eyefi has unveiled Eyefi Cloud that, along with the Eyefi Mobi wireless SD card and Eyefi Mobi apps, "makes newly-captured photos instantly available on a smartphone, tablet, PC or smart TV."

More to come...
