Iridient Digital has released Iridient Developer 2.4.1 with support for the Sony RX100 III and an improved hot and dead pixel filters. Other improvements include:

  • The monochrome channel mixer conversion controls introduce a Preserve Luminosity option
  • The Open dialog now has Raw sizing options for using common fixed aspect ratios when loading Raw images or ignoring the in-camera aspect ratio setting
  • JPEG export speed has also been improved
  • Fix for image cropping on the Fujifilm X100S when shot at 1:1 aspect ratio

Iridient Digital releases Iridient Developer 2.4.1 for Mac OS X

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. -- Iridient Digital, Inc. has released Iridient Developer 2.4.1, an update to the critically acclaimed Raw conversion and photo processing software for Mac OS X.

This update includes much improved hot and dead pixel filters which are now enabled by default for most all Raw camera models. The monochrome channel mixer conversion controls now have a "preserve luminosity" option to make interactive editing of channel mixer blends easier. Fixes a bug with image cropping and the Fujifilm X100S when shot at 1:1 aspect ratio. The Open dialog now has Raw sizing options for using common fixed aspect ratios when loading Raw images or ignoring the in-camera aspect ratio setting if possible (as long as full Raw size is specified in metadata). JPEG export speed has also been improved along with various other bug fixes and improvements.
