The Apple App Store has named Brushstroke, an iOS photo editing app that transforms photos into paintings, as its App of the Week. The $2.99 app will be, consequently, available free for the next week.
A simple menu of five options lets you apply effects to any photo. They include Paint, Color, Canvas, Image Editing and Sign effects.
Image Editing tools include Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Density, Vibrance, Exposure, Shadows, Highlights, Temperature, Thickness and Sharpness.
Sign lets you sign your painting with your own signature, which can be resized and repositioned anywhere on the canvas.
The interface is very straightforward and fun to engage. And the transformation into a painting isn't bad either.
When you're done with your masterpiece, you can Share it via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, email and Messages.
