Digital Film Tools has released v2.0 updates to both PhotoCopy and reFine, adding OFX plug-in support to both. The company also revealed a workaround for a licensing manager issue with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

PhotoCopy, which copies image attributes from one image to another, now includes Internet image searching, Retina display support for Mac, layering and seven masking types for photo plug-in hosts and the availability of the PhotoCopy user interface for all video/film plug-in hosts and adds OFX plug-in support.

Among the new features of the sharpening utility reFine v2.0 are Retina display support for the Mac, three new masking types in photo plug-in hosts and the availability of the reFine user interface for all video/film plug-in hosts plus OFX plug-in support.

Digital Film Tools also detailed a workaround for 2100 and 2110 errors in Yosemite. "Recent changes in Mac OSX 10.10 require that we modify our license manager and this affects activating and deactivating," the company explained. A manual install of the license manager resolves the issue.
