As Canon announced its EOS M3 in Europe and Asia with no plans to bring its mirrorless camera to the U.S., the company introduceds the SX410 HS, it's latest PowerShot superzoom, and the ELPH 350 HS, it latest compact.

EOS M3

The M3 features a 24.2-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with a new DIGIC 6 processor. Other notable features include a beefed-up grip, front control dial, hybrid CMOS AF III AF system, 180-degree articulated 3.2-inch LCD, 1080/30p video recording, a built-in pop-up flash, a top-panel exposure compensation dial and WiFi with NFC.

No EVF is included but a hotshoe is provided for an optional viewfinder attachment.

POWERSHOT SX410 IS

The PowerShot SX410 IS features a 40x optical zoom range, an Intelligent IS image stabilization system and a 20-Mp CCD sensor in a body weighing less than 11.5 ounces and measuring just 2.72 inches high and 3.35 inches deep.

Capable of capturing 720p HD video, the SX410 offers 21 Scene modes for video in addition to 32 for stills. Creative Filters like Fisheye Effect, Toy Camera Effect and Monochrome are also available.

The PowerShot SX410 IS camera is scheduled to be available in March in red or black for an estimated retail price of $279.99. Pre-ordering is available via our affiliate links at Adorama and B&H.

POWERSHOT ELPH 350 HS

The PowerShot ELPH 350 HS features a 12x optical zoom lens, a 20.2-Mp CMOS sensor and a 3.0-inch LCD. Its Intelligent IS helps optimize image stabilization and it includes a built-in flash plus low light sensitivity up to ISO 3200.

The ELPH 350 also include both WiFi and NFC connectivity. An Auto Zoom feature identifies the subject, focuses and automatically frames it.

The PowerShot ELPH 350 HS camera is scheduled to be available in April in black and silver for an estimated retail price of $209.99. Pre-ordering is available via our affiliate links at Adorama and B&H.

The PowerShot SX410 IS Digital Camera is the latest super zoom camera to be added to Canon's SX-series lineup. With a 40x optical zoom range, an Intelligent IS image stabilization system and a 20 Megapixel CCD sensor, the PowerShot SX410 IS camera gives users the features they need to capture every photographic moment in high resolution. The lens and sensor provide powerful performance in a very compact and portable body -- weighing less than 11.5 ounces and measuring just 2.72 inches high and 3.35 inches deep from the rear LCD screen to the front of the lens.

The PowerShot SX410 IS camera is always ready for action with a dedicated movie button to easily start and stop recording 720p HD video. Additionally, the PowerShot SX410 IS camera can capture tight close-up shots of subjects from far distances through the use of the camera's full 40x zoom range. The camera is also outfitted with ECO mode to help extend battery life allowing more photos to be taken over a longer period of time.

The camera's Smart AUTO mode sets the ideal image quality settings by intelligently selecting from 32 pre-defined scene modes for still shots and 21 scene modes for video. Featuring a 12x optical zoom lens and a high-resolution 20.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, the new PowerShot ELPH 350 HS camera is capable of capturing sharp images with the superb quality. With Intelligent IS to help optimize image stabilization, a built-in flash and ample low light sensitivity up to ISO 3200, users can create images that are sharp and virtually shake-free in a wide range of shooting conditions both indoors and out.

The PowerShot ELPH 350 HS digital camera is equipped with built-in WiFi, allowing for wireless transferring of images and video to compatible mobile devicesiii, WiFi enabled computers and select social networking sites, making it easy to share images anytime or anywhere.
