Ricoh Introduces Compact, All-Weather Flash

Ricoh has introduced its $149.95 all-weather AF201FG flash, for Pentax branded interchangeable lens cameras. The AF201FG flash sports a guide number of 20 at ISO 100/m.
A new assignable mode button can be set to any of five modes including Off, P-TTL (leading curtain sync), P-TTL (trailing curtain sync), Manual (full) and Manual (1/4). Powered by two AA batteries, the AF201FG is available in the body color black.

DENVER, Colo. -- Continuing its heritage of producing dynamic and rugged weather-resistant imaging products, Ricoh Imaging Americas Corp. has announced the launch of the new AF201FG flash unit with a guide number of 20 at ISO 100/m for Pentax branded interchangeable lens cameras. With the announcement of this new, CompactFlash unit, Ricoh Imaging extends its impressive family of weather-resistant accessories.
As the latest addition to weather-resistant flash line, photographers are now equipped with capable tools that reassure them to extend the boundaries of outdoor photography. The new AF201FG was designed with the active photographer in mind, including a dust-resistant and water-proof, all-weather construction that prevents the entry of water and dust into the lens. The AF201FG provides advanced flash application, including bounce flash functionality, which is adjustable to angles of -10 to 90 degrees vertically.
