The Computer History Museum in Mountain View, Calif. will host Mastering the Pixel: 25 Years of Photoshop, a panel discussion, on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. The date marks the 25th anniversary of the release of Photoshop 1.0.

A panel of three Photoshop luminaries will discuss, "How did this remarkable tool come to be and what has been its influence on our lives and larger culture?" Participants include:

  • Russell Brown, the original Photoshop evangelist
  • Steve Guttman, the original Photoshop product manager
  • Thomas Knoll, the programming genius who created Photoshop

The CHM is located at 1401 N. Shoreline Blvd. in Mountain View, Calif.

CHM notes, "The Cloud Café will be open, come grab a quick bite, a glass of wine and connect with fellow CHM friends!"
