Photographers love to tell stories and Adobe has just given us one more way to do it with Slate, a free iPad app to convert any document "into a beautiful visual story" using professionally-design themes you can manipulate with simple gestures.
Tap any of several professionally designed themes, each which includes fonts, magazine-style deign and motion, to apply it to your story. Then enter or import elements into the Slate document. Here's a 30-second demo:
The Slate Web page includes examples made with the 83.6-MB Slate. A peek at the source code suggests Slate documents are hosted on an Adobe server.
A link to the recast document can be embedded in a Web site (with buttons to trigger action), among other options.
