After saving the last Polaroid factory back in 2008 to keep instant film alive, Impossible has launched a tour of 40 cities across the United States, providing a chance to learn more about the project and the world of analog instant photography.

Highlights of each stop include:

  • Introductory sessions to instant photography
  • Creative technique workshops teaching emulsion lifts and double exposures
  • Use a classic Polaroid camera to take a Polawalk with local photographer

The Impossible Project U.S. Road Show brings instant photography back to the heart of America.

Discover the world of analog instant photography with Impossible's U.S. Road Show. Try out classic Polaroid cameras, turn your digital images into real instant photos and explore creative techniques at Impossible workshops across the U.S. this summer.

Since saving the last Polaroid factory back in 2008, Impossible has worked together with a passionate community to revive instant analog photography around the world. The U.S. tour, which features a series 40 stops across the United States, is a chance to learn more about the project and the world of analog instant photography.

Along the way The Impossible Project U.S. Road Show will be hosting introductory sessions to instant photography, as well as creative technique workshops teaching emulsion lifts and double exposures to those who want to make the most of their Impossible shots.

Whether you're an old hand or a total newbie, there will be something for all levels of experience and expertise.

After a selection of workshops along the route,attendees will be able to put down their phones, pick up a classic Polaroid camera and take a PolaWalk around town with a local photographer. As well as challenging new found analog skills this will also be a chance to view and photograph their surroundings in a whole new way.

Having kickedoff in Austin on 15 June, the road show will run until 24 August, for its final stop in Boston.
