PIX2015 Opens In Seattle Oct. 6

PIX2015, a photo expo and conference presented by DPReview in association with its parent organization Amazon.com and the Photo Marketing Association, will be held in Seattle on Oct. 6 and 7 at the Seattle Center's Expo Hall and McCaw Hall.
Simon Joinson, DPReview general manager and the event's organizer, said, "We have two stages featuring a stellar lineup of speakers, including some of the best photographers in the world and a hall full of all the latest gear, unique hands-on photo activities, shooting opportunities and experts to help visitors learn how to capture and share, stunning images of their friends, families and life events.
"Also, I'm very excited that we'll be live streaming video at many of the events and talks as they happen at PIX on October 6th and 7th and archiving it for a worldwide audience and for future generations of photographers to learn from and enjoy."
Entrance to the main hall expo, which features gear discounts courtesy of Amazon.com, is free to pre-registered attendees. The two-day Re:FRAME conference will be streamed live on http://pix2015.com, Amazon.com and other partner sites with reserved-seat passes for the Re:FRAME program of talks available for a fee at http://www.pix2015.com.

SEATTLE, Wash. -- Photo Interactive Experience is a first-of-its-kind family-friendly live-streamed expo, conference and interactive photo playground that will take place on Oct. 6 and 7 at the Seattle Center's Expo Hall and McCaw Hall in Seattle, WA. PIX2015: The expo
The live expo on Oct 6-7 is designed as a 'photography playground' with demo stages, interactive touch exhibits and a wide variety of hands-on shooting experiences for photographers of all ages and levels of experience. The exciting world of creative photography and videography technology will be on full display by leading companies in the industry, featuring everything from the latest cameras and accessories to photo manipulation software and apps.
Camera and lens makers including Sony, Samsung, Fujifilm, Nikon, Canon and Sigma will be demonstrating their latest products and answering questions regarding their equipment. Visitors will be able to watch photography demonstrations and try their hands at techniques with expert instruction so they can experience firsthand how to take great photos in a variety of shooting scenarios.
