Sigma Unveils World's First 20mm f1.4 Prime

Sigma has expanded its full-frame Art lens line-up with the world's first 20mm f1.4 prime. The new ultra-wide angle lens is compatible with Sigma's USB Dock, joining the other f1.4 Art primes: the 24mm, 35mm and 50mm.
The lens barrel is constructed with a Thermally Stable Composite material, which can handle a wide variety of temperatures and conditions. The lens mount is constructed from brass for long-term durability and mounting accuracy. Compatibility with the optional Sigma USB Dock provides fine-tuned control over focusing parameters and other lens characteristics.

Sigma said the $899 20mm f1.4 Art will be available in December in Canon, Nikon and Sigma mounts. It will include a case and lens cap. B&H is taking pre-orders now, as is Adorama with listings for the Canon, Nikon and Sigma mounts.
