Nikon has announced three new compact Coolpix cameras with long zooms and high resolution video plus a new app for sharing photos.

Providing outstanding zoom capabilities ranging from 60x and 40x respectively, the Coolpix B700 and Coolpix B500 provide uncommon reach in a small camera. With a powerful 35x zoom lens, the Coolpix A900 is a compact, stylish and feature-packed camera that fits comfortably in a pocket.

SNAPBRIDGE

Nikon's new SnapBridge automatically transfers images via Bluetooth low energy directly to a compatible smartphone or tablet, establishing an "always on" connection to make it easy to immediately share your images. The SnapBridge app documents the time and place images were taken, embeds copyright or photographer information on any image, as well as operates the camera remotely. Built-in WiFi and NFC are also available to further increase connectivity and promote sharing great images.

SnapBridge users can also take advantage of Nikon Image Space, the company's free image storing service, to store up to 20-GB of images and thumbnail images (up to 2-MB), while the application will also send registered users firmware updates directly to their smart device.

Nikon said the Coolpix B700, Coolpix B500 and Coolpix A900 will be available in the spring for $499.95, $299.95 and $399.95, respectively. The B700 will be available in black, the B500 in black and red and the A900 in silver and black.

Easily Share and Transfer Images: The New Nikon SnapBridge
