DNP announced it will offer an on-site printing seminar at the first annual Camera Artists Summit in Detroit, Mich., April 30 through May 2.

"We are proud to partner with the Camera Artists Summit to help provide free educational sessions to photographers around the country," said Katsuyuki Oshima, DNP Imagingcomm America Corp. president. "On-site printing is an increasingly important component to the event photographer's business offerings. Our seminar at CAS is designed to help professional and aspiring photographers understand the technology and workflows required to have a successful print on-site business operation."

The DNP seminar will demonstrate how to set-up and operate a dye-sublimation on-site printing workflow for event photography and photo booths using the company's products. A DNP representative will also be available for a Q&A session and one-on-one meetings with attendees.

Seminar attendees will also have the chance to win DNP's flagship DS620A dye-sublimation printer, which we are testing at the moment, with a case of 4x6-inch media as well as software from Darkroom.

The leading provider of professional dye-sublimation photo printing solutions will host a seminar on printing on-site for photographers and offer a product giveaway to attendees

DETROIT, Mich. -- DNP Imagingcomm America Corp. has announced a partnership with the first annual Camera Artists Summit in Detroit, Mich. The summit, held April 30 through May 2, offers photographers of all skill levels an opportunity to network with their peers and learn about photographic standards. Attendees will also receive free training in many areas of photography and the business of photography, including DNP's on-site printing seminar to be held on May 2.

The DNP seminar will feature the set-up and operation of a successful dye-sublimation on-site printing workflow for event photography and photo booths. A DNP representative will be available for a Q&A session as well as for one-on-one meetings with attendees. Seminar attendees will also have the chance to win DNP's flagship DS620A dye-sublimation printer with a case of 4x6-inch media as well as software from Darkroom.

DNP's DS620A is the world's most compact professional-grade photo printer and can produce up to 400 prints per hour in a wide variety of sizes. The printer can produce 2x6-inch (2-up) photo strips, 2x6-inch (4-up) photo strips, 3.5x5-inch (2x), 4x6-inch 4x6-inch (2x), 5x7-inch and 6x8-inch prints as well as new 5x5-inch and 6x6-inch square prints in a newly improved gloss or matte finish. Also available with the DS620A is DNP's new double-perforated 6x8-inch media that features a 2-inch laser-snap double perforation. The new perforated media allows for three snap-off photo strips or the ability to attach "call to action" items to photo prints such as vouchers, coupons, logos and other promotional materials.
