Sigma Updates Photo Pro, Capture Pro Software

Sigma has released updates to its Photo Pro, its Raw file processing software and Capture Pro, its dedicated camera control software. Both are available immediately for download.
PHOTO PRO
Photo Pro 6.5 features:
- Compatibility with 64-bit operating systems including macOS Sierra
- Compatibility with the Raw X3F and X3I files of the sd Quattro H
- Increased processing speed for Raw data in the Review Window and during file saves images by using the GPU (Raw data of sd Quattro series and dp Quattro series only)
- Compatible with thumbnails and exposure data of DNG files shot with the sd Quattro H
- An improved algorithm in Super Fine Detail Mode so that minor gaps between each frame are less visible
- An improved algorithm in noise reduction when developing Raw data for the sd Quattro series and dp Quattro series
- An updated Auto development algorithm of Raw data adjustment setting for the sd Quattro series and dp Quattro series
- Corrects the phenomenon whereby the parameter of Auto development is different when Display Quality or Display Speed is prioritized
- Preference Settings incorporates a mode whereby images transferred from Sigma Capture Pro will not open in the Review Window
- Adds an Update Information Notification function
- Displays messages for some functions by way of a pop-up notification
Note that Retina display resolution on the Mac version are still not supported and there are reports that the new GPU processing reliably crashes on the Mac.

CAPTURE PRO
Highlights of Capture Pro 1.3 include:
- Compatibility with the sd Quattro H, SFD Mode of the sd Quattro H, DC Crop Mode of the sd Quattro H
- Support for Live View Display Mode of the sd Quattro H. Grid Line Display, LV Enlarged Display, Focus Peaking Display are also compatible (with a future firmware update)

Today, the Sigma Corp. is pleased to announce the availability of the latest Raw processing software Sigma Photo Pro 6.5.
This download service is for users of the Sigma sd Quattro series, dp Quattro series, SD series and DP series cameras.

Sigma Photo Pro 6.5 for Windows
- It is compatible with Raw data (X3F files, X3I files) of the sd Quattro H.
