In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention (with more than 140 characters). This time we look at wax figures, the Feiyu MG V2, five Lightroom shortcuts and #GriddyCenter.
- In The Selling of the Presidents 2017, Alan Taylor presents 27 images of the recent fire sale of wax figures from the defunct Hall of Presidents and First Ladies in Gettysburg, Penn. First ladies went too, but they were only 1/3 scale for some reason.
- Moose Peterson loves The Amazing Feiyu MG V2 dSLR gimbal for video. It's compact, breaks down for travel and has all-day battery life:
- Scott Kelby details Five Little Known Lightroom Shortcuts about the Transform panel, background color, painting straight lines, the histogram and graduated/radial filters.
- Why Are So Many Instagrammers Taking the Same Photo at the Getty? asks Tristan Bravinder. Um, because they're square? Apparently #GriddyCenter makes them giddy.
