In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention (with more than 140 characters). This time we look at the Women's Marches, the Leica M10 and Fujifilm GFX 50S, Pier 24's Collected catalog and a Sony trade-in event.

  • In Photos of the Women's Marches Around the World, Alan Taylor presents 45 images from Washington, New York, Denver, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle, and from other cities in England, Ghana, France, Canada, Serbia, Australia, Kenya, Germany, India and more. Amy Graff presents 84 of The Best Signs From the San Francisco Women's March.
  • Kirk Tuck has some Some Quick Thoughts on the Leica M10 and the Fujifilm GFX 50S, both of which strike him long on nostalgia and short on value.
  • Pier 24 is accepting $50 pre-orders for Collected, the catalog for the current exhibition the brings together photographs from the Pilara Foundation and other Bay Area collections. The book will ship in February after the show closes at the end of the month.
  • You can save up to $480 during Sony's trade-in event when trading in any brand lens, mirrorless camera or dSLR. Adorama will also give you the value of your traded-in product as valued by its used gear department. B&H has a similar deal.

More to come! Meanwhile, please support our efforts...
