In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention (with more than 140 characters). This time we look at the week in review, a to-do list, an inexpensive LED and a GFX 50S review.
- The Week in Pictures begins with an arresting image of an injured woman laying among postcards on Westminster Bridge in London after being run over. And that's just one of the 13 images that made us stop and look.
- In What We've Never Gotten From Camera Makers, Thom Hogan lists eight things plus the previously mentioned image ingestion that have never gotten off the to-do list. Sadly, he expects to see them all first on smartphones.
- Kirk Tuck finds An Inexpensive Light from Aputure. "It's a perfectly good compromise between build quality, performance and cost. The price? Around $275."
- Jim Kasson begins his Fujifilm GFX 50S Review after "a GFX did the web equivalent of following me home." This post will serve as a table of contents with permalinks to the other posts at the bottom.
More to come! Meanwhile, please support our efforts...
