DNP has introduced a single roll mobile media option for its DS40 dye sublimation printer. The new media option, which includes one paper roll and a dye transfer ribbon, produces 400 4x6 prints or 800 2x6 strips in a matte or glossy finish.

The new single media option is packed in a smaller and lighter case than the double roll option with two rolls and two ribbons. Designed to be reused, it is made from 100 percent recycled material.

"Providing practical and economical solutions to our customers' increasingly dynamic workflow is an important part of our business," said Katsuyuki Oshima, president of DNP Imagingcomm America Corp. "The single roll mobile media case improves the convenience and portability of our media offering for on-site photographers, giving them greater flexibility in managing the logistics of events of different sizes and scope."

Previously, the 4x6 media option was only available in a double roll quantities for $109. DNP's media options for the DS40 also include 6x8, 5x7 and 4x6 perforated options as well.

Available in the U.S. and Canada, the single roll media option is $84.

Improving mobility and convenience for on-site photography

CONCORD, N.C. -- DNP Imagingcomm America Corp. has announced the launch of its Single Roll Mobile Media. Designed exclusively to work with the award-winning DS40 dye-sublimation printer, the Single Roll option provides a higher level of convenience and portability for event photographers.

The single roll case can produce 400 standard 4x6-inch prints or 800 2x6-inch photo strips, in matte or glossy finishes. The smaller case is perfect for event photographers, giving them the option of using a smaller, lighter pack of media at events that don't require a full double roll case.

Designed to maximize convenience, the single roll case packaging is robust and capable of being reused multiple times. The new packaging is made from 100 percent recycled material with a design which makes it easier to repack and transport the roll from one event to another without damage to media.

The single roll is available in the United States and Canada for $84.
