Adobe has announced the winners of its Make the Cut contest celebrating Premiere Pro's 25th anniversary. The company invited fast of Imagine Dragons and Premiere Pro to cut a video using footage for the band's hit single "Believer," shot by director Matt Eastin.
The grand prize winner, whose work is seen above, is Adam Henderson from Texas.
In addition to the grand prize winner, five additional winners of the subcategories with links to their creations are:
- Fan Favorite: Christian Gravland, USA
- Most Unexpected: Timo Hensen, The Netherlands
- Best Young Creator: Nicolas Burnage, France
- Best Short Form: Lucia Noriega, Spain
- Best Use of Stock: Micah Stuart, USA
"I was blown away by the level of creativity, skill and storytelling in the submissions we received," said Ann Lewnes, Adobe's CMO and a contest judge. "I always say Adobe has the most creative community in the world and the quality of work from this contest was yet another proof point."
The contest received approximately 9,000 submissions from 28 countries, including cuts from Germany, India, the Philippines and Norfolk Island. Sixty percent of the entries came from creators under the age of 25 and 68 percent used Adobe Stock content in their cuts.
