Dyno Equipment has introduced Trek, a modular, motorized camera slider system for GoPros, small cameras and smartphones. Through its Android or iOS app, you can customize the speed, length, direction and long exposure time-lapse for each shot.

Trek Slider. A $200 solution for small cameras.

"After searching high and low for a modular, motorized camera slider that was cost-effective and easy to use, we soon realized that such a product just did not exist," said Chris Szczur, CEO and co-founder, Dyno Equipment. "Most of the products on the market are made for larger cameras and are too expensive, bulky and complex. By reimagining the technology, we have been able to create a product that anyone can use anywhere, anytime."

Trek's portable design is built with Magnetic Quick Connect technology, a patent-pending track connection system that sets up in just seconds without tools. STrek's leg design ensures the slider will remain stable on any surface. The patent pending design of the shuttle allows for movement on any incline, from horizontal to vertical and even upside down. In addition, the universal mount on top of the shuttle allows for any camera under one pound to be used.

HIGHLIGHTS

Highlights of the Trek also include:

  • Bluetooth Capable: Wireless control of the shuttle from up to 100-feet away
  • Long Battery Life: 20+ hours on a single charge
  • Long Exposure: Long exposure stepping for nightlapses
  • Wide Speed Range: Live motion control between 1- and 36-inches per minute
  • Large Weight Capacity: Move any camera (up to one pound) horizontally and any camera (up to 8 oz.) vertically
  • Weather Resistant: Water- and dust-resistant
  • Tripod Attachment: Standard 1/4-20 mount
  • Lightweight: Full kit is 2.5 lbs.
