This time we look at the last moon landing, packing for Germany, 13 free photo apps and the Gomma photography grant contest.

He's packing it all in a MindShift Backlight 26L because it fits under the seat in front of him so he won't have to check it if the overhead bins are full. "I also like to keep everything beneath the seat because it minimizes the chance of someone ramming their luggage into my bag and it allows me to access my laptop or iPad without having to get up or carry a separate laptop bag," he adds.

- Oct. 31 is the deadline for the fourth edition of the Gomma Photography Grant Contest. "Gomma Grant is open to everyone. Any medium, black & white or color, analogue or digital. What we are looking for is consistency, personality and courage," organizers said.
