Olympus has announced its Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 17mm f/1.2 Pro lens for the Micro Four Thirds system. The 35mm equivalent for the weatherproof lens is 34mm.
Of particular note is the ED-DSA element which, the company says, reduces the lens' size while improving performance. In addition, the lightweight focusing mechanism is quiet, fast, and accurate, Olympus said.
