In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at 13 Lens posts, some monochrome images, Lightroom export plug-ins and TheFilmCameraShop.
- In 13 Lens Posts That Captured Photography in 2017, the New York Times highlights just a few of its superb slide shows, which we regularly point out. There are links to each as well as a slide show overview of the baker's dozen shows.
- Black-And-White Update by Mike Johnston presents some luscious monochrome images, some in sets of three, by various readers of The Online Photographer, as well as an intelligent discussion of their virtues. Why is that so rare?
- In Extending the Power of Lightroom Classic Export, Rob Sylvan explains how to find and install export plug-ins and just how they can help.
- TheFilmCameraShop is Derrick Story's used film camera store. He inspects, cleans and test each item. Most cameras even go through a film test after which he evaluates the processed images (and leaves the fresh batteries in the camera). And some of those lenses will mount on a digital camera, too.
