Attempting to entice smartphone photographers into the world of interchangeable lens cameras, Canon has announced two new EOS models: the M50 and Rebel T7. We'll look at each separately below.

The M50 features improved Dual Pixel CMOS AF, a 24.1-Mp APS-C CMOS sensor with less noise and high definition in low-light, and 4K video.

Price, Availability

Canon said the M50 would ship in April for $779.99 for the body only. It will also be available with the EF-M 15-45mm f3.5-6.3 IS STM lens in both black and white for $899.99. Additionally, the EOS M50 will be sold with the EF-M 15-45mm f3.5-6.3 IS STM and the EF-M 55-200mm f4.5-6.3 IS STM in black only for $1,249. A Video Creator Kit will also be available for $999.99.

Adorama and B&H are both now accepting pre-orders.

REBEL T7

The Rebel T7 is a dSLR featuring an upgraded 24.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, continuous shooting up to 3.0 frames per second, a nine-point autofocus system and a 3.0-inch LCD monitor.
