In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Head Case, the Sigma 60mm f2.8 Art lens, straightening images, Unsplash and all the Adobe blogs.
- Head Case may be the most practical application of the modern selfie ever conceived. If it takes off, it could change airport carousels forever.
- Kirk Tuck praises the Sigma 60mm f2.8 DC DN Art, of which he's owned three. "I consider it one of the great bargains available for all of the cropped sensor systems," he writes.
- Julieanne Kost continues her 3, 2, 1, Photoshop! series with Three Ways to Rotate or Straighten Images.
- Is Unsplash the New Instagram? Paul Melcher wonders. "Unsplash could end up becoming a potent competitor to Instagram, Pinterest and Snap as they share more DNA," he suggests.
- Adobe has transformed it Adobe Blog into a directory of the company's many blogs. There's a lot of good (and obscure) stuff here to build a little list of bookmarks to follow. Now it's all in one place.
