In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Capture One Fujifilm Raw processing, another ON1 recipe, Hip-Hop, Flickr and Black Friday.
- Derrick Story tries out Capture One Pro 11.3 and Fujifilm Raw Processing for his Fujifilm XF10. "I was dying to seeing how its Raw files were decoded with Capture One Pro," he writes. "I was not disappointed." Nice tomatoes, Derrick.
- ON1 has released Dreamy Landscapes, another of its ON1 Photo Raw Recipes.
- In How Hip-Hop Learned to Pose for the Camera, Hua Hsu reviews Contact High by Vikki Tobak, calling it "a wondrous tribute to the way hip-hop overturned not just the sound of culture but also ways of seeing."
- Thomas Hawk suggests Why Limiting Free Users to 1,000 Photos on Flickr Is a Smart Move. "It is very important to me that Flickr remains profitable for the long-term so that I can count on it being there many, many years from now," he writes.
- Jacob Kienlen has some shopping advice for Black Friday 2018. And you can start shopping now, he points out.
