In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Alabama, Erin Sullivan, Apple Photos shortcuts and the Save the Internet Act.
- Alan Taylor presents 28 images of the Alabama Tornado Devastation. Winds reached 170 mph, destroying homes for 20 miles in Lee County with 23 dead confirmed and over 100 injured. Number 18 says it all.
- Lex van den Berghe invites you to Travel to Namibia With Lightroom Mobile and Photographer Erin Sullivan. Sullivan includes some observations about the ethics of travel photography. "Just because you have a camera does not mean you are entitled to anything, including photos," she says.
- The MacStories Shortcuts Archive includes quite a few for Apple Photos.
- Marrian Zhou reports Democrats Introduce 'Save the Internet Act' to Restore Net Neutrality. She writes:
"86 percent of Americans opposed Trump's assault on net neutrality, including 82 percent of Republicans," said Pelosi during the press conference on Wednesday. "With 'Save The Internet Act,' Democrats are honoring the will of the people."
