The Bob & Diane Fund is now accepting submissions for its new Still Living photo contest open to "those living with Alzheimer's or dementia."
The idea for the contest was "inspired by a friend living with dementia who reminds us she is still living -- and seeing -- every day," said Gina Martin, executive director of the Fund.
The three best submissions will each win $500, which will be awarded in June. "Describe your photograph and tell us where and when it was taken. Tell us how it brings you joy and inspiration, or how you see the world," the contest rules suggest.
The Fund will publish some entries while the contest is underway on its Web site and on Instagram at @bobanddianefund.
To enter, use the submission form on the Bob & Diane site. Deadline for submissions, which must must be taken by a person with Alzheimer's or dementia, is May 1.
