When we reviewed Three Entry-Level All-in-One Devices last May, we reported on our real-world shopping experience at a big box store. Mom needed a new printer and we were the Calvary.
We rode back to the fort with the HP Envy 5055 for its "superior engineering and lower ink costs."
And frankly, in the 14 months since then, we've looked like a genius.
Her ink usage using HP's InstantInk service have been free. Mom doesn't print a lot but HP has sent her new cartridges. Those $60 a year ink costs have disappeared.
And right now you can get the printer for $50 from several sources including Amazon, Adorama and B&H.
We thought you might like to know. Particularly if you're looking for a back-to-college printer deal.
