10 June 2020

Iridient Digital has announced the release of Iridient Developer 3.3.13, its Raw file image editing software. It's the second maintenance release this month, in fact.

HIGHLIGHTS

Features of the June updates include:

New Features:

  • Support added for NEF images from the Nikon D6
  • Support added for ARW images from the Sony ZV-1
  • Support added for DNG images from the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, S20+ and S20
  • Support added for using in camera on/off settings for automatic lens corrections and vignetting on recent Nikon models (D6, Z7, Z6, Z50, D780, etc.)

Improvements:

  • Updated to the latest Adobe DNG SDK release (1.5.1)
  • Updated to the latest OpenEXR libraries (2.5.1)
  • Updated to the latest libraw version (0.2 beta 2)
  • LittleCMS color management library updated to newest version (2.10)
  • Minor changes made to the Leica M (Typ 240) camera tone curve to provide better linearity through the mid tones
  • Updated DNG color and white balance default metadata to the latest Adobe DNG Converter 12.2.1 release

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue with automatic lens distortion correction for the Sony ZV-1 (v3.3.13 release)
  • More workarounds implemented for crashes and hangs specific to the macOS 10.15.4 update. It is very highly recommended that Iridient Developer users using macOS 10.15.4 update to macOS 10.15.5 or later
  • Fixed a crashing issue with some TIFF image metadata on macOS 10.7.x systems
  • Fixed an issue where the Process Selected Images button in the Batch Settings window was not working on macOS High Sierra (10.13.x)
