In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Muhammad Ali, Julieanne Kost, the 13th Annual Worldwide Photo Walk, a Nagaoka, Nikon Z sales and Richard Liebowitz.
- Gordon Parks enjoyed "unprecedented access" to Muhammad Ali after meeting the champ in 1966 during training in Miami before flying to London where Parks documented the run up to Ali's fight against Henry Cooper.
- Julieanne Kost will appear on the Photography Show 2020 on Monday, Sept. 21, at 13:00 GMT when she'll present 20 Tips for Organizing and Editing your Photos in Lightroom Classic. The seminar is free but registration is required.
- Scott Kelby has announced the 13th Annual Worldwide Photo Walk will be held Oct. 3. Here's the back story:
- Joe Kashi's Wedding Present From His Wife (A Nagaoka) says it all. Kashi accompanies the story of acquiring his 1976 4x5 Nagaoka with sumptuous images of it. He's trying to get a 5x7 model from Nagaoka before it's too late.
- Thom Hogan wonders How Many Nikon Z's Have Been Sold? He knows how many were shipped, but that's not the same thing.
- Carolyn Wright explains why you shouldn't judge all copyright attorneys by One Bad Apple (Or Attorney), namely Richard Liebowitz. He's, uh, special.
More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look back. And please support our efforts...
