Loop has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its second generation Loop 2 picture frame featuring text-to-frame, auto-sync with Google and Lightroom and an interactive touch screen.
"I first created Loop after my son was born. We tried to share photos but social media was too public and our family used all kinds of technology, so nothing was seamless and efficient," said Brian Gannon, CEO of Loop.
"Loop lets families and friends privately share photos and videos with a simple text message, but it does so much more. It's simply the most elegant and user-friendly digital photo frame on the market."
The Loop 2 frame features WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, works with iOS and Android and offers interaction via the Loop app. The app alerts users to updates in real-time and allows for caption creation and commenting. It creates a private social network to keep memories in the family and allow everyone important to be involved.
Loop 2 is available to pre-order starting at $85 and is expected to deliver in December of this year, the company said. For more information see the Kickstarter campaign and the news release below.
Loop 2, Launching on Kickstarter, Connects People Across Distances With Text-to-Frame Photos and Videos
The second-generation Loop smart picture frame features text-to-frame, auto-sync with Google and Lightroom, an interactive touch screen and more helping people share memories and stay connected.
SAN FRANCISCO -- Share special memories and stay connected with family and friends with Loop 2, the elegant, smart-synced digital photo frame launching today on Kickstarter. Gone are the days of remembering to text Mom or email Grandma that latest photo of the new baby. With Loop 2, every milestone or moment captured can be instantly shared with the people who matter most.
People are further apart from one another than ever before. With jobs and life taking people away from the ones they love and social distancing keeping people confined to mostly separate spaces, it can be hard to share the moments that matter with the people who matter. Social media, texting and email offer some ways to share memories, but each has its drawbacks. And while digital frames do allow people to update photos displayed, many lack ease of use or interactive features that make connections genuine.
Loop 2 changes all this. Building upon the success of its flagship frame, Loop 2 is the smart digital photo frame that offers the ability to receive texted photos and videos, sync with Google Photos and Adobe Lightroom, "like" photos via touchscreen capabilities and more. Connecting loved ones and sharing memorable moments has never been easier.
According to Market Watch, the global digital photo frame market is valued at approximately $30 million and faces strong competition. Innovative design and use of technology are determining winners in the space and Loop is top-of-the-line on both fronts. Texted photos instantly appear in the recipient's frame and auto-sync functions keep every frame in the network filled with the latest photos and videos.
Each Loop 2 frame features WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, works with iOS and Android and offers interaction via the Loop app. The app alerts users to updates in real-time and allows for caption creation, commenting and more. It creates the ultimate private social network to keep special memories in the family and allow everyone important to be involved.
Loop 2 is available to pre-order starting at $85 and is expected to deliver in December of this year. To pre-order, visit pr.go2.fund/loop.
