Twitter's ban of a certain someone for whom the truth was merely an inconvenience certainly cleared the air over the last two weeks. But today was different. It was even better.
We take no small comfort in imagining the self-proclaimed object of so many "witch hunts," as he called them, crying in Florida today, "I'm melting! I'm melting!" as he disappears from the conversation.
But we'd much rather take the high road, there were so many moving moments today. Like President Biden's majestic inaugural address. Like Kamala Harris being sworn in as vice president by Justice Sotomayor with those two bibles.
And another of them, for us, was driving up Portola past these makeshift signs of relief.
