Tamron Announces Three Zooms

Tamron has announced three zooms: a 16.6x for the Fujifilm X mount, a fast standard zoom for the Sony E mount and an f2 mirrorless zoom. Details follow:

TAMRON 18-300
The 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 VC VXD covers am equivalent range of 27mm to 450mm, making it the first APS-C mirrorless camera zoom lens in the world with a 16.6x zoom ratio. The lens includes special lens elements arranged to maintain high resolution performance from edge to edge. Its AF drive system uses Tamron's Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive linear motor focus mechanism.

TAMRON 28-75
The 28-75mm f2.8 Di III VXD G2 is the successor to the 28-75mm f2.8 Di III RXD, maintaining the compact size of its predecessor but with a new optical construction designed for digital cameras with increased resolution. The AF drive uses Tamron's Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive linear motor focus mechanism and the minimum object distance is 7.1 inches at wide angle for a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.7.

TAMRON 35-150
The 35-150mm f2-2.8, with a focal range ideal for travel photography, is the first zoom for Sony E full-frame mirrorless cameras to have a maximum aperture of f2. The Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive linear motor focus mechanism features very high-speed and high-precision autofocus for a fast-aperture lens. It also incorporates a new design to enhance operability and ergonomic convenience.
