DxO has released updates to PhotoLab and FilmPack with a discounted introductory price until the end of the year. Both products also offer support for new cameras including the Canon EOS R3, Ricoh GRIIIx and the entire range of Fujifilm cameras.

PHOTOLAB 5.1

DxO PhotoLab 5.1 enhances the user experience with a GPS coordinate display directly on Google Maps and a revamped photo filter menu designed for more efficient navigation.

PhotoLab also adds Chinese language support as DxO includes Chinese languages across all of its products and Web site for the first time.

FILMPACK 6.1

In addition to Chinese language support, the new FilmPack version offers a more intuitive experience of Time Machine, the interactive guide to the history of classic film stocks. Effects are just one click away when browsing the historic images and their captions.

The Essential and Elite editions of DxO PhotoLab 5.1 and DxO FilmPack 6.1 are available to download now from the DxO Web site at the following prices (discounted from the regular price in parentheses) until Dec. 31:

The updates are free for owners of DxO PhotoLab 5 and/or DxO FilmPack 6. The Essential version can be installed on up to two computers and the Elite version can be installed on up to three.

Photographers with DxO PhotoLab 3 (or later) and those with DxO FilmPack 5 can upgrade to DxO PhotoLab 5.1 and DxO FilmPack 6.1 respectively by logging into their customer account at https://shop.dxo.com/login_upgrade.php/en.

DxO PhotoLab 5.1 gains a selection of upgrades designed to enhance user experience. GPS coordinates now display directly on Google Maps and the photo filter menu is revamped for more efficient navigation.

DxO FilmPack 6.1: A time machine at your fingertips

Version 6 of DxO FilmPack introduced Time Machine, an interactive guide exploring the history of classic film stocks and how they were used to create iconic photographs. The feature allows users to apply film renderings to their own photographs and version 6.1 offers a more intuitive experience as the effects are just one click away when browsing the historic images and their captions.

Like its older sibling DxO PhotoLab, DxO FilmPack 6.1 now includes Chinese language support.

Support for the latest cameras

DxO PhotoLab 5.1 and DxO FilmPack 6.1 continue the company's commitment to supporting the latest photographic equipment. As well as adding the Canon EOS R3 and the Ricoh GRIIIx, DxO now accommodates the entire range of Fujifilm cameras including the X-T30 II and three other X-Trans sensor cameras, as well as the GFX 50S II.
