Yesterday the rain came at last. Not much but a shower now and then through the day. The ground sucked it up like chalk, things are so dry.

Today, the last of the clouds passed by. Clouds? All we saw all summer was fog. Not a cloud in the sky, as they say.

So we don't know much about clouds. But we couldn't sit still this morning. We packed a bag and headed for the hills. Twin Peaks.

We weren't disappointed.
