DNP has launched the beta of a new Web service dubbed Party Print that adds on-location prints to participant photos.

"Our new Party Print Web service is an amazing new product for photographers, DJ's, event venues and event managers," said Shinichi Yamashita, DNP president. "They can offer it to their clients for a fixed fee, bundle it with other services or they can charge for prints. If they already own a DNP photo printer, all they do is pay a low fee per event, giving them a flexible new profit stream."

HOW IT WORKS

When a photographer offers the Party Print system to a client events, guests can upload the photos they've taken to the DNP server where they can be:

  • Shared via a live feed with other guests who are able to download full-resolution copies
  • Printed on location
  • Seen displayed in a large-screen slide show

Guests scan a QR code to go to the Party Print Web app, select their event photos and click Send.

The system supports multi-day events and the geofencing allows the system to support a wide area, for example allowing guests at a golf tournament to upload photos from anywhere on the course and then see the slide show and get prints in the clubhouse.

PRICE, AVAILABILITY

Pricing consists of a $9.95 monthly membership subscription plus a per-event fee of only $24.95. High volume pricing will be available later in the year.

Party Print is currently in private beta by invitation only but you can request an invite. The service will be available to all customers beginning April 24.

Photographers Can Add Crowdsourced Photos to Events With DNP's New Party Print Web Service

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Fun, personal candid photos have been a part of events for years, starting with handfuls of disposable cameras put on tables for guests to use, moving to today, with guests taking photos with their cell phones and sharing them via texting, AirDrop and social media. With the new Party Print Web service from DNP Imagingcomm America, getting and sharing candid shots from guests is easier, faster, more immediate and more fun.

Party Print is a great value-add for nearly any event and a new way for photographers to increase their revenue. When a photographer brings the Party Print system to their clients' events, it lets guests upload the photos they've taken and share them via a live feed, with other guests able to download full-resolution copies, get prints on location and see the photos displayed in a large-screen slide show. It's fast & easy -- guests just scan a QR code to go to the Party Print Web app, select their best photos of the event and click Send. The system is incredibly flexible, supporting multi-day events and the geofencing allows the system to support a wide area, for example allowing guests at a golf tournament to upload photos from anywhere on the course and then see the slide show and get prints in the clubhouse.

"Our new Party Print Web service is an amazing new product for photographers, DJ's, event venues and event managers," said Shinichi Yamashita, president of DNP Imagingcomm America Corp. "They can offer it to their clients for a fixed fee, bundle it with other services or they can charge for prints. If they already own a DNP photo printer, all they do is pay a low fee per event, giving them a flexible new profit stream."

Because the entire service is Web-based, customers can manage their Party Print events from anywhere using a modern Web browser running on a Mac, PC or tablet. Via the customer Web portal, events are created and scheduled, custom graphics can be added to the event's live feed, custom print borders can be uploaded and the feed can be prepopulated with images. A unique QR code for each event is made available for tent cards, signs and posters used at the event to build awareness and encourage photo taking.

DNP IAM will bring the party to WPPI 2023 at the Mirage Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, from March 7-9. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the in-the-moment excitement of Party Print firsthand at WPPI booth #1713.
