Hasselblad has announced a Lightweight Portrait Kit for the X2D 100C featuring the XCD 1,9/80 and XCD 4/45P lenses.

The XCD 4/45P lens, shown mounted on the X2D 100C above, itself weighs 11.20 oz. and measures 47mm in thickness, making for a compact medium-format combination.

HIGHLIGHTS

Highlights of the kit include:

  • X2D 100C. The 100-megapixel medium format BSI CMOS sensor pairs with Hasselblad's Natural Color Solution to ensures skin tones are faithfully reproduced. A built-in 1-TB SSD provides space to store over 4600 Raw files.
  • XCD 1,9/80. The medium format wide-aperture autofocus lens features "an advanced and intricate optical design, coupled with creative calibration technologies."
  • XCD 4/45P. The ultra-lightweight and compact medium format autofocus lens is specifically designed for capturing portraits in narrow spaces. A 36mm equivalent, the optical design comprises seven elements in nine groups, including two aspherical elements.
