Lightroom Mobile Introduces Faster Editing, Sharing Share This on LinkedIn   Tweet This   Forward This

13 June 2023

In a release rolling out today, Lightroom mobile eliminates the need to import phone images and introduces a new option called Create Edit Replay to create videos showcasing your edits.

The new features were announced by Jon Tehero in a blog entry today.

INSTANT ACCESS

"Now, you no longer need to import photos just to see them in Lightroom for mobile," Tehero writes. "When you open the mobile app, you can instantly access your photos, videos and albums from your Apple iCloud or Android Gallery, directly inside a new tab in Lightroom."

CREATE EDIT REPLAY

Julieanne Kost provides a guided tour of the new Create Edit Replay feature in this 1:38 video:

"Simply make the edits, then tap the Share icon and choose Create Edit Replay to have Lightroom create a video with a high level overview of the changes that you made to the photograph," she says.

PRICE, AVAILABILITY

"These two features, free to anyone with the Lightroom mobile app, are rolling out globally, starting today. We're excited to introduce more enhancements in the coming months to make mobile editing faster, easier and more intuitive than ever before," Tehero writes.

Lightroom Mobile is free for iOS and Android with an Adobe account.
