Epson Introduces Expression 13000XL Large Format Scanner

Epson America has introduced its Expression 13000XL scanner, engineered for photo archiving and graphic arts featuring one-button start large-format scanning up to 12.2 x 17.2 inches with 2400x4800 dpi resolution. The scanner also offers an optional transparency unit.

FEATURES
The Expression 13000XL delivers large-format scanning up to 12.2 x 17.2 inches at 2400x4800 dpi resolution. It scan using Epson Micro Step Drive technology with a 3.8 Dmax. Epson MatrixCCD and ReadyScan LED technologies plus 48-bit color depth produce brilliant color with accuracy.

TRANSPARENCY UNIT
The optional transparency unit can scan film, negatives and other transparent materials up to 12.0 x 16.5 inches. The unit can scan up to 48 frames of 35mm negatives, 30 slides, eight frames of 4x5 transparencies or six medium-format transparency strips up to 18cm long.
