Epson Announces Perfection V19 II, V39 II

Epson has refreshed its reflective scanner lineup with the Perfection V19 II and Perfection V39 II, which are apparently the same hardware with different software options. Neither offers a transparency unit.
"Designed to make scanning simple for consumers and photo enthusiasts, the Perfection V19 II and Perfection V39 II scanners deliver quality, convenience and functionality in a compact design," said Carrie Fox, director of Epson's scanner division.

The high-rise feature lets you scan in tight spaces by propping the unit up with a kickstand built into the back.

Epson said the $89.99 Perfection V19 II and $119.99 Perfection V39 II will soon be available from major retailers as well as on the Epson store.
