Persnickety Box has launched its online service to print 4x4-inch square photos from its iOS or Android app or your Google Photos account on silver halide paper with an expected life of 100 years. The Fujifilm prints are delivered in a handsome box.

"We want to disrupt the way social media has alienated people from the pleasure of the physical world and create a network of people who believe that the future is about building and preserving real connections tangibly," said founder Chari Pack.

"Not only will quality-printed photographs last longer than digital files, but we know where they are! Statistics show that when children see photos of their childhood, the feelings of love and belonging arise and build self-esteem and self-worth."

There are three options made from recycled materials to display your box of prints (member prices shown):

  • A 4x4-inch pocket-page Photo Album: $12

Persnickety Box Creates a Story That Never Fades With an Affordable Photo Archival Process

The mom-founded brand transforms digital memories into eco-friendly keepsake boxes filled with high-quality prints for a new way to scrapbook and relive memorable moments.

Persnickety Box announces the launch of its online app-driven subscription, which takes digital photos and converts them into 30 quality 4x4-inch luster prints stored in eco-friendly keepsake story boxes delivered to doorsteps. A new form of scrapbooking inspired by the Tinder swipe, it lets users easily build cherished memories without uploading images.

Download the free interactive photo app (iOS and Android) and select photos by swiping or clicking. The prints arrive with complimentary white borders in a recycled photo-safe box. Persnickety Box also integrates with Google Photo.

Digital photos are processed like film in a dark room, embedding the image into silver halide paper that is fade, scratch and water-resistant, that will last over 100 years. Photos are preserved since they are not made of ink. The company ships thousands of photos worldwide daily.

Founder and visionary Chari Pack is a mom, scrapbooker and passionate storyteller who has created an affordable photo archival process. Her passion is to pass on memories to future generations in a format that will last and be enjoyed repeatedly. She loves how photos tell our stories, change narratives, convey emotion and even help with mental health issues impacting our world.

"We want to disrupt the way social media has alienated people from the pleasure of the physical world and create a network of people who believe that the future is about building and preserving real connections tangibly," said Pack. "Not only will quality-printed photographs last longer than digital files, but we know where they are! Statistics show that when children see photos of their childhood, the feelings of love and belonging arise and build self-esteem and self-worth."

Going from a bootstrapped company to a million-dollar brick-and-mortar location, Pack turned the business into an online platform. She added, "You can't leave your kids an Instagram page. You can leave them a Persnickety Box!"
