In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Santiago Borja, Lightroom updates, Lens Blur, Nikon Z telephoto options, camera frame cropping and incomes.
- Kate Mothes features pilot Santiago Borja's photographs of Stunning Storms shot from the cockpit of a Boeing 767.
- Terry White covers the New Lightroom and Lightroom Classic Features Released at Adobe MAX.
- Julieanne Kost demonstrates Lens Blur (Early Access) in Lightroom Classic:
- In Telephoto Today, Thom Hogan the Nikon Z telephoto options that range from 70mm (with seven) to 800mm (with one), all of which, he writes, "deliver excellent images."
- Kirk Tuck reflects on the two cameras he took to Montreal to do Urbanscape Photography. The Leica M240 required three primes in the bag while the Leica Q2's camera frame cropping turns the fixed 28mm lens into four primes.
- Rob Haggart adds the salary of an In-House Product, Lifestyle and Ecom Photographer to his industry incomes project. "This position was listed at $55k max, but with the retouching and excel skills I brought to the job, plus experience, they were able to increase it to $60k which I still feel is undervalued for what I provide," she says.
More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look back. And please support our efforts...
