In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at the Nutcracker, People's Park, Andy Anderson, the Artralab 14mm f2.8, a Lightroom workflow, Harvey Stearn and the Fujifilm GFX 100 II.

- Ximena Natera presents A Year of Photos From People's Park which include the 54th anniversary of the Berkeley site, tree people, a cake made in honor of park co-founder Michael Delacour who died in March and protesters. "I wanted to explore some of the deep bonds and relationships people developed around the park and why, for many, the idea of a Berkeley without People’s Park is inconceivable," she writes.
- Suzanne Sease features A Personal Fashion Project in Cuba, the personal project of Andy Anderson. "Not commissioned by a client, this personal journey was to expand his portfolio and test his ability to art direct a fashion shoot," she writes.

The series will include articles on Architecture and Skylines, Coastal and River Cities, Local Color, Major Annual Events, Parks, Gardens & Public Places and Urban Wildlife.
