Saturday matinees long ago let us escape from the ordinary world to the island of the Swiss Family Robinson or the mutinous decks of the Bounty. Why not, we thought, escape the usual fare here with Saturday matinees of our favorite photography films?
So we're pleased to present the 529th in our series of Saturday matinees today: International Color Awards.
This 1:32 video features winning Photojournalism images from 16th Annual International Color Awards photo show. The winners were selected by leading curators, art directors, publishers, gallerists and auction houses.

International Color Awards is nw in its 17th year shining a spotlight on the best professional and amateur photographers in its annual contest and online gala awards show.
The awards are open to professional and amateur photographers shooting in all forms of color photography using traditional or digital methods. Photographers who are driven by their artistic eye and a desire to excel in this classic art form are encouraged to enter.
