- In Tradition, Tragedy, Transition, Triumph, Getty presents the pivotal moments of 2023 across news, sports, entertainment and more. Here's a teaser:
- Time Magazine's photo department showcases its Best Photos of 2023. "We need to remember our dead, especially those whose deaths fill us with anger -- but it's also important to recall the things that brought joy to their lives, because even for those whose lives aren't cut down prematurely, time is fleeting."
- The Associated Press highlights a few images by its photographers in Latin America and Caribbean curated by photo editor Anita Baca in Mexico City.
- Grace Holiday presents Margot Reading, Francesca Jones's best phone picture shot on an iPhone 12. "I'd have missed it had I gone off to get my digital camera or she would have noticed and I wouldn't have captured something so authentic," she says.
- Her cousin is Just a Guy With a Hobby but he took 200 engagement and 500 wedding photos for her and won't take any money for them. "How much would be appropriate to pay him?" she wants to know.
