In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at AP's week, Reuters' week, Macy's parade, forests and monochrome wildlife.
- The Associated Press spotlights its Top Photos of the Week curated by photo editor Anita Baca.
- Reuters shows chronicles The Week in Pictures from around the world.
- Pejman Faratin curates images of Macy's Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade, the 99th of them with 32 balloons including three giant balloons, 27 floats, 33 clown groups and 11 marching bands.
- Kate Mothes presents the Otherworldly Photos of Forests by Michelle Blancke. "Much of Blancke's process involves walking -- moving through forested areas until a certain atmosphere or interaction with sunlight resonates with her," she writes.
- Dahlia Ambrose shows 30 Black and White Wildlife Photos.
More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look five years back. And please support our efforts...
